Hey have heard?......

Hey granny whats ya doin?

Can't really see the "Baldry Bum chin on this picture, but isn't she just adorable?? I love her fuzzy mullet! Those cheeks are so kissable it should be illegal. Can't get enough of this little cutie pie...Do I sound like a smitten grandmother or what!
This is for auntie Tess...she was always posing crosseyed.....this is what happens..

S Auntie Amy's wish has finally come true! She's waited a while for this event in her life....and it's everything she dreamed it would be..
She was mentioning how everyone at work wants to see a picture of the booby, she meant to say baby, we all had a good laugh. She comes out with some pretty funny stuff..we love our Amykins too!

Sleepless in Saskatoon!

She's finally here and ahead of the due date! Annika Lillian Wight arrived safely on Sunday November 2nd at 7:21 pm. Mark and I arrived in Saskatoon at 6:30pm because of the kindness of Barry & Brenda Clements. Barry flew us out there from Taber in his piper plane. It only took 2 hours! Mark flew back to Taber that night. He was able to see Annie just about 1/2 hour after she was born. I have been here since last Sunday! Mark and Amy arrived last night(Thursday) and we are heading back to Taber tomorrow. I can't imagine leaving our little Annikin...I will miss our little 3 am snuggles. It has been so wonderful to have this time together.

Baby Annika Lillian Wight is here!

Well Granny is out here in good ole Saskatoon! Our precious little grand daughter has finally arrived! Annika Lillian Wight weighed in at 6 pounds 14 ounces! A little peanut for sure! She is adorable and has a very pronounced cleft in her chin!!! So cute. I will try to post some pictures tomorrow when I can find a cable to connect my camera with!! Darin and Jen are very happy to have their little bundle finally here. I'm glad I can help out a bit this week so Jenna can get some rest and heal a little. These are exciting times for sure and we feel so blessed. Barry Clements flew Mark and I to Saskatoon, which was extremely kind of him, so it only took 2 hours to get us here. They then turned around and flew back and left me here to help out. We are so fortunate to have kind friends!! I loved the flight, it was great! I love being a grandma more..it is better than I could of imagined!!!

We had a spooktacular evening with Amy and Sandra Klok. The primary kids were there as well, having a blast. How fun to have our very own Princess and a red necked Oiler fan. Good thing our princess is so loving!!
Little Carter Jensen (Darin & Arica's) is enjoying getting the Bishop wet! He was so cute and having so much fun.

A Quiet Empty Nest

Well the nest is really quiet these days now that the wedding is over and the loose ends are almost wrapped up.  I manage to keep myself busy and find things to do.  I hosted book club last night and we had read The Holy Secret by James Ferrell.  He also wrote The Peacegiver. Both are great books that give you something to really think about.
Mark and I are going on a date to the Mousetrap tonight, put on by Taber Players Theater group. Should be fun.  Tomorrow we are going to the temple, Jordy Litchfield is going through, so that should be a wonderful time for his family. I think we'll go and see G&G Wolsey as well.
I have to get working on Amy's costume...she wants to be a princess, so I am revamping an old 80's grad dress so it should be fun! she is playing her christmas music all the time now and has her letter written to Santa. She sent it in September! The holidays will always be fun with Amy around!

Up and Blogging Away!

Well I thought it about time to get with it and have our own blog! Hopefully this will be a great thing for our family to keep up to date and in the know!
Thanks to you all for your help with the wedding this last weekend. It was wonderful and I still get comments from others on how lovely Tess looked (you too Bryan) and what a great day it was.
We are looking forward to celebrating once again this weekend in Edmonton with all the Edmonton folk. It should be fun to be together once again. As soon as I get some pictures I will get them posted for all to enjoy.
Well I must be off now to pack up the decorations and get ready for the drive tomorrow to Edmonton.
